StudyDote is an examination preparation service for MECEE-PG aspirants. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address and mobile number when you create an account.
- Study activity. The questions you attempt, your answers, timings and progress through topics. This is what allows the app to recommend a next step.
- Device and usage data. Device type, operating system version, app version and crash diagnostics.
How we use it
Study activity is used to build your performance picture and to generate recommendations. Account information is used to authenticate you and to send service messages about your subscription. Device data is used to fix defects and to keep the service stable.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share study activity with third parties for advertising.
Service providers
We use third parties for hosting, payment processing, email delivery and crash reporting. They process data only on our instructions and only to the extent needed to provide their service.
Retention
Account and study data are retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, personal information is removed within 30 days. Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be retained.
Your choices
- Request a copy of the data held about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Delete your account and the data attached to it.
- Opt out of non-essential email at any time.
Children
StudyDote is intended for medical graduates preparing for postgraduate entrance examinations and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
